About Us – AZSFMA

The Arizona Sports Field Management Association (AZSFMA) is home to sports field managers across the Copper State. As an affiliate of the national Sports Field Management Association (SFMA), we share the same core values and commitment to excellence in sports turf management. We represent every level of play, as our state is rich in athletic fields—from school districts, parks and municipalities, to colleges and professional venues. One of the most unique aspects of our association is its diversity; much like Arizona’s climate, whether you’re in Tucson, Flagstaff, Yuma, or Globe, there is always someone to connect and network with—and we are committed to continuing to grow that network.

Throughout the year, AZSFMA is dedicated to providing engaging field days, vendor events, networking opportunities, and educational resources focused on athletic field and grounds maintenance. We strive to create meaningful experiences that show we “grow more than just grass”—we grow knowledge, relationships, and the future of our industry.
